Celebrating Passage of the Equality Act by the U.S. House of Representatives

I’m glad to see the House of Representatives pass the Equality Act. Now it’s time for the Senate to do the same and send it to the President’s desk.

Protection against discrimination in public accommodations and housing, in addition to existing protections in the workplace, are long overdue for our LGBTQ+ friends, family, and neighbors.

I am proud to support the Equality Act as a member of the Mayors Against LGBTQ Discrimination Coalition.
